Account information

When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive basic account information such as your email address, name, and profile image when provided by the identity provider. We use this information to create and maintain your account.

Interview answer data

You may submit STAR interview answers, job titles, company names, levels, job description URLs, notes, favorites, and related context. We store this information so we can score your answer, save your report cards, support search, rescore, and let you download reports.

Scoring and feedback data

We store generated scores, STAR section feedback, strengths, weaknesses, top areas to improve, company values feedback, and processing status for each report.

Billing information

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. We store Stripe customer, subscription, price, and billing-period identifiers needed to manage access. We do not store full payment card numbers.

How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your account.
• Score STAR interview answers and generate feedback reports.
• Save report cards, notes, favorites, and search data for your account.
• Manage subscription access, monthly score limits, and billing status.
• Fix bugs, monitor reliability, and improve the Service.

What We Will Never Do

• We will never sell your personal information.
• We will never display advertising based on your interview data.
• We will never share individual answers or report cards publicly.
• We will never use your identifiable interview answers in marketing or external analysis without your permission.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate Score My Interview:

• Supabase for authentication and database services.
• OpenAI for AI scoring and feedback generation.
• Stripe for subscription checkout, billing, and customer portal access.
• Vercel for frontend hosting.
• Railway for backend hosting.

Data Storage and Security

• Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
• Backend API endpoints require authenticated access.
• Database rows are scoped to the authenticated user.
• Secret keys are stored only in server-side environments.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data and report cards while your account is active. To request account deletion or data export, contact us at hello@scoremyinterview.com.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise those rights.

Children's Privacy

Score My Interview is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
